Project involves 10 nonprofit organizations coming together to enhance their services and meet their communities need in a central location The Community Center. JOIN US

The beneficiaries are all those persons the 13 nonprofit organizations service, specifically low to moderate income residents of Adelanto first and others as space permits. Our target is on disadvantaged populations, single moms, drop outs, troubled teens, unemployed, non-English speakers, homeless, foster teens, newly released prisoners and those from dysfunctional homes.

The purpose of the High Desert Community Connection Center is to create self-sufficiency, jobs, prevent overlapping of nonprofit services, involve parents in student education, centralize all community resources, provide group activities, social support, and public information in one location the community center, creating self-sufficiency, improving the quality of community and family life.

The project involves acquiring land, constructing the community center which will be three stories high with office suites for lease and all program activities on the ground floor, small business pads, and identifying a gas station mini mart, super market, and restaurant to join us as anchors.

Audience: 9th-12th graders
Training: Utilizes 21 technologies, forward thinking, financial awareness, college access training, social skills, community service component
Activities: University and College visits

Vocation List: customer service, equipment operator, security guard, janitorial, secretarial (volunteer support)

Student Success

Education is the foundation of individual and community success. Student success should be the groundwork of all after school programs. Ensure student safety, reach out to the school system, use standards in education materials, enlist community volunteers with special skills, involve parents and keep organized records. Emmanuel Unique is doing its part as a responsible community organization by providing professional education services. Join us in our efforts.

Training: Assessment & evaluation, academic enrichment, community service component
Activities: Sports, culinary, young marines (self defense), dance, pets, arts & crafts, etc.

Education is a prime factor increasing awareness. Breakfast is the main dietary meal, yet as age goes up, those youth eating breakfast goes down. 80% of high school students are not getting their 5 a day requirement of fruit and vegetables. Female students are not consuming enough calcium to support healthy bone development, and 39% of children 2-17 are not meeting their daily fiber intake.

As “Part of the Solution” we are reaching the student, families, and communities, teaching good nutritional choices.

As a responsible community organization it is important that Emmanuel Unique has a sustainable income which includes fundraising, earned income, and donations. We are seeking the support of community business and corporations that are upgrading their equipment of any kind. We welcome the opportunity to utilize it in our efforts to increase community development. Our fundraising efforts have afforded EUOP new opportunities to reach more students and communities.
